Think you've got what it takes to conquer an entire kilometer and then some? Then the Pe Ell 4th of July Festival Lard Butt 1+K is the event for you!
Whether you walk, waddle, stroll, or simply enjoy the journey, this laugh-filled event is all about having fun. Along the route, participants will find water stations and pastry stops to help keep their energy up as they tackle this mighty 1+ kilometer challenge.
Bring your family, gather your friends, wear a fun costume if you'd like, and join us for one of the most entertaining events of the festival. No experience required—just a sense of humor and a love for making memories!
Think your family's pierogi recipe is the best in town?
Now's your chance to prove it!
Join us on Saturday, July 3, 2027, at 12:00 PM for the inaugural Battle of the Pierogi at the Pe Ell 4th of July Festival.
Gather your family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors and enter your favorite pierogi recipe. Each team will prepare one flavor of pierogi to serve to our first 50 festival guests, who will cast their votes to determine the People's Choice Champion.
Whether your recipe has been handed down for generations or you've created a new favorite, we want to see what makes your pierogi the best in town!

The Pe Ell High School Volleyball Team is bringing some friendly competition to the Pe Ell 4th of July Festival with a Casual 2-on-2 Grass Volleyball Tournament.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to have some fun with a friend, everyone is welcome to join in on the action.

Whether you're a first-time thrower or have some experience, their trained staff will be on hand to provide instruction and help you safely enjoy this unique activity. Challenge your friends, cheer each other on, and see who can hit the bullseye!
It's a fun opportunity to try something different while enjoying all the festivities happening throughout the afternoon. Don't miss your chance to step into the lane and give axe throwing a try!

Meet Blackboard recording artist Chris Guenther, an award winning multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter. His brand of original Country and Western music has captivated audiences across the country and abroad. His catalogue of eight independently released albums have been recognized for their authenticity. We thank them for bringing incredible country music, great energy, and their unforgettable performance to the Pe Ell 4th of July Festival!
